AFC Championship: Titans at Chiefs Betting Preview
As crazy as the Wild Card weekend was for the NFL playoffs, the divisional round left even more headscratchers than before.

The Tennessee Titans came out and crushed the No. 1 overall seed, the Baltimore Ravens, who were unable to stop the freight train that is Derrick Henry.
The Kansas City Chiefs started off sluggish in their home game against the Houston Texans but then finished the game with 51 points scored in the last three quarters.
Those two results set up this week’s AFC Championship Game, with the Chiefs hosting the Titans on Sunday.
These two teams met about midway through the regular season, and Tennessee managed to escape with a victory.
This time, the stakes are much higher, with a trip to Miami on the line. These are two of the best offenses in the league, and it’s time to find out who will make it to the Super Bowl.
No Longer A Fluke
Henry has made a name for himself this season. The NFL’s leading rusher has translated that performance into the playoffs.
The fourth-year player out of Alabama has now accumulated the most rushing yards in his first four playoff games by any running back. Nobody wants to take a chance at tackling him.
The Titans have let Henry carry them offensively, giving him over 30 carries in back-to-back weeks. Those 60-plus carries have accumulated nearly 400 yards on the ground.
That doesn’t even begin to mention the trick play the Titans pulled out on the goal line where Henry threw a touchdown pass in the win over Baltimore.
As good as he has been, only talking about Henry is unfair to Ryan Tannehill, who has completely morphed into a new quarterback since his days with the Miami Dolphins.
Tannehill has a strong connection with all of his receivers, and AJ Brown has been a do-it-all kind of player for the offensive side of the ball.
This is a scary offense that is as hot as any in the league. The Titans have a strong chance to make it all the way and bring home a title to Tennessee.
Ready To Take The Next Step
The Chiefs just barely missed their chance at a title last season, falling in the AFC Championship Game to New England, and they were back this season with a vengeance.
After dealing with some injuries in the middle of the season, the Chiefs finally have everyone healthy, and Patrick Mahomes is ready to take them all the way.
Travis Kelce has looked like an unstoppable force and accounted for more than a couple big catches in the Chiefs’ game against Houston.
While the Chiefs got off to a slow start, giving up the first 24 points, they finished the game with over 50 and looked like the best team in the NFL.
Mahomes threw four touchdown passes in the second quarter alone, and the defense was flying all over the field to shut down Deshaun Watson and the Houston offense.
With this matchup against the Titans, the Chiefs can really expose their secondary, as the Titans do not really have a good matchup for Kelce.
There’s a lot to love with the Chiefs and Mahomes, and this might be the year that Andy Reid finally gets over his playoff stigma.
With both of these teams having the best offenses in the NFL, it is hard to predict who is going to show up in this game.
Vegas has yet to trust Tennessee, and even after they beat the Chiefs earlier this season, they still show up as heavy underdogs in this game.
The Chiefs are favored by -7.5 at home and are looking to lock themselves into the Super Bowl. I’m taking Kansas City to finish the job and make its run.
Make sure to lock in your bets before kickoff!
