Bally Bet Launches in Indiana
Bally Bet announced on Thursday that its sportsbook is now live in the Indiana mobile sports betting market. The Hoosier State is the fourth state where BallyBet is active, following Colorado, Virginia, and Iowa launches. Bally’s Corp. purchased the rights to the Bally’s brand in 2020 and has been looking to expand in the online casino and sports betting markets across the country.
Soo Kim, chairman of Bally’s Corp.’s Board, said that they have transformed the company in just a few years from a regional casino operator to the only gaming entity “providing customers with an omnichannel experience.” Kim added that their national portfolio will offer “best-in-class properties with unmatched digital capabilities.” Kim said that with Bet.Works’ technology supporting their interactive platform, they are “well-positioned to capitalize on significant opportunities” in a rapidly expanding industry.
Bally Bet received approval from the Indiana Gaming Commission on December 10 to launch as early as December 13. Bettors in Indiana now have 13 sportsbooks to choose from when looking for somewhere to place their wagers. Bally Bet is the fourth new sports betting site in Indiana in 2021. Barstool, Betway, and WynnBet have also debuted in the Hoosier state.
There could be more on the way with betprophet, SBK Sportsbook, Sports Illustrated, PlayUp, and Fubo Sportsbook also planning to launch in Indiana. From the above, the SBK promo codes seem the most impressive, with $100 free for $20.
Bally Bet Agrees to Partnership with Major League Fishing
Bally Bet signed the first pro bass fishing sports deal after joining forces with Major League Fishing (MLF). MLF is one of the most prominent fishing tournament organizations in the world.
With this agreement, Bally’s will become MLF’s exclusive sports betting, free-to-play, and daily fantasy sports partner for MLF’s tournament circuits.
MLF President Jim Wilburn said that the partnership with Bally’s will offer their fans and anglers “another unique avenue to engage with fishing.” Wilburn added that the partnership marks an important step for “Major League Fishing in the growing U.S. gaming and sports betting sectors.”
One of the terms of the deal will see BallyBet become the title sponsor of MLF’s Angler of the Year Award for the Pro Tour. The BallyBet Angler of the Year winner for 2022 will be rewarded with a 100,000 prize. Additionally, BallyBet will stream Bass Pro Tour events on its apps.
MLF marks the fifth league Bally Bet has signed a deal with. Bally Bet is also an official sports wagering partner of the NHL, NBA, WNBA, and MLB.
