Milwaukee Bucks signs Gaming Deal with Betway
Betway Sportsbook and the Milwaukee Bucks have revealed that they have agreed to a partnership that will see Betway become the Official Gaming Partner of the Bucks.
Betway is a Market-Leading Operator
Betway is part of Super Group and was founded in 2006. The company has sportsbooks running in many markets globally. Super Group is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and has obtained licenses to operate in over 20 jurisdictions. Its reach extends to not only the Americas but Africa and Europe.
Super Group went public as part of a $4.75 billion deal with Sports Entertainment Acquisition Corp. The company was created as a special purpose acquisition entity (SPAC) in the spring of last year.
Deal Details
Bucks fans will be greeted with Betway in-arena branding inside the Fiserv Forum as part of the agreement. Betway branding will also be found on Bucks’ “digital assets,” including the “Betway Game Rewind.” The Rewind feature is social media content that will discuss the previous game between the Bucks and their next opponent.
Bucks Chief Business Development & Strategy Officer Matt Pazaras said they are thrilled to join forces with Betway and “bring their world-class brand to Bucks fans.” Pazaras stated that “Betway has been a fantastic partner to work with from the start,” and they are excited to grow their relationship with one of the best “betting and gaming brands in the world.”
Betway CEO Anthony Werkman said that the bucks are a welcome addition to “our already impressive portfolio in the NBA.” Werkman mentioned the Bucks having a great season in the NBA, and they are looking forward “to sharing the thrill of their successes together.”
Betway Expands Footprint
Betway has over 60 brand partnerships with teams and leagues. It has agreements with numerous NBA teams, including Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Philadelphia 76ers.
Last year, Betway agreed to a deal with the NHL, which allowed the operator o have access to NHL-controlled media assets during the agreement, including digital, social, and email marketing campaigns.
