Caesars signs deal with Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Caesars Sportsbook named official betting partner of Indy 500, Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Caesars Entertainment already operates casinos in Indiana and has been offering online betting options for residents for a while as well. However, the company has increased its level of exposure not just with locals but with motorsports fans across the world. That is due to a new agreement between Caesars and Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS).
Part of the deal will be a Caesars-themed betting lounge at the track. The lounge will be a prominent feature at the track, offering more than just a home for signage letting people know of Caesars’ sponsorship.
Deal Details
According to a press release, the sponsorship comes with numerous perks for racing fans and Caesars itself. As is typical with partnerships of this kind, Caesars receives access to use IMS properties like trademarked logos.
Caesars will also get social media assets and digital signage on the Speedway’s channels. Additionally, the betting company becomes a sponsor of the remaining races on the track’s calendar for 2022, including the Indy 500 later this month.
For fans, this deal will present new opportunities. For example, Caesars will host exclusive VIP experiences for Caesars Rewards members at the IMS. Caesars sportsbook app customers can also take advantage of an upcoming promotion linked to the Indy 500.
Caesars will be providing $106 in free bets for new players who sign up at the Caesars sportsbook app and deposit at least $20 into their new accounts. This year is the 106th running of the Indy 500, hence the bonus amount.
Another benefit that comes with that promotion is access to the new Caesars Sportsbook Lounge at Pagoda Plaza. This could be the icing on the cake for racing fans.
New Caesars lounge at IMS
The press release says that the Caesars Sportsbook Lounge will be the “first exclusive betting lounge at the Racing Capital of the World.” The public will be able to access the lounge on public practice and race days.
Bettors should be aware that this will not be a retail sportsbook. There will be no betting windows or kiosks inside the lounge. Instead, all betting will take place on users’ phones through their Caesars and other apps.
Caesars launched its betting app in Indiana in May 2020. The company also runs Horseshoe Indianapolis, Harrah’s Hoosier Park, and Horseshoe Hammond casinos in the state.
