Caesars launches new sports betting app to replace William Hill
Following the takeover of William Hill, Caesars has launches a new sports betting app
Caesars Entertainment has announced the launch of its new Caesars sportsbook app. The launch was expected as part of the rebranding of the William Hill Sportsbooks that Caesars has purchased. The new sports betting app will go live in eight states: New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, West Virginia, Virginia, Colorado, Michigan, and Tennessee. Additionally, the app will soon launch in Louisiana, Maryland, and Arizona, pending regulatory review and approvals.
For residents in Illinois who participate in sports betting, in addition to Washington, D.C, and Nevada, bettors are required to be at or near a Caesars Sportsbook retail location to register. However, customers will now have access to the new Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill app. The app also offers an upgraded look and a link to Caesars Rewards.
Tom Reeg, CEO of Caesars Entertainment, said they are “excited to launch our new comprehensive marketing campaign for Caesars Sportsbook.” Reeg said that the rebranded and upgraded offerings of the sportsbook would “provide customized offers, flexible limits,” in addition to a wide range of betting lines.
Reeg was also keen to stress how players can benefit from the award-winning Caesars Rewards scheme.
The Caesars Sportsbook has the most retail locations in the country. It will also be launched outside of the company’s casinos and resorts in places such as Chase Field in Phoenix for AZ sports betting, Prairie Meadows Casino & Racetrack for Iowa sports betting, Capital One Arena in D.C., Monmouth Park Racetrack in New Jersey, Mountaineer Casino & Resort in West Virginia and Turtle Creek Casino in Michigan. According to a press release, it will help expand Caesars’ presence in key gaming markets.
Welcome Bonus at Caesars Sportsbook
As part of the launch, new players who sign up at the Caesars Sportsbook will have the opportunity to take advantage of a risk-free bet bonus worth up to $5,000 plus a $1,000 deposit match on Scientific Game platform apps.
Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Digital, said that the Caesars sportsbook “puts the bettor at the center of everything.” Hession said that the company understands what bettors want “in terms of depth of odds and breadth of sports.”
Caesars has been named as the official casino sponsor and an official sports betting partner of the NFL. Caesars also has betting partnerships for MLB betting, NHL betting, and NBA betting, in addition to existing deals with numerous professional teams.
