Evolution Gaming Strikes New Partnership with William Hill
Games provider Evolution Gaming has agreed to a US-wide partnership with operator William Hill
Evolution Gaming, a leading provider of live dealer casino games, has agreed to another partnership in Michigan. Following the company securing deals in the Wolverine State with PointsBet and BetMGM, the software provider has signed an agreement with William Hill to supply live casino content and services across the United States. Michigan is not far away from finalizing its online casino and online sports betting regulations with the aim of launching in November 2020.
William Hill will initially launch its live casino operations in New Jersey with more states to follow. Johan Nordstrom, CEO Malta, and chief commercial officer at Evolution, described their role in making the William Hill Casino one of the most popular options in regulated European markets as “instrumental.” He said the company looks forward to “achieving the same high levels of success” for the sports betting operator in the United States.
Evolution has an extensive library of live dealer games, including traditional favorites such as blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. They have also included some well-known themed options such as Deal or No Deal and Monopoly.
NJ Live dealer online casino games have become a firm favorite among players in recent years. Real dealers oversee them in the same way as you would find on a live casino floor. When playing blackjack, players will be dealt a hand as if they were sitting at a table when, in fact, they could be playing from home.

All of the action is live-streamed from studios directly to your desktop computer or mobile device. Live dealer games have seen a surge in popularity this year as the Coronavirus pandemic forced many land-based casinos to shut their doors. As a result, players could replicate the experience of being at a physical casino from the comfort of their own home.
William Hill Enter Michigan Market
William Hill has recently entered the Michigan sports betting market, launching the Onyx Sportsbook at Turtle Creek Casino near Traverse City. The sportsbook also has a satellite location with betting kiosks at Leelanau Sands Casino in Peshawbestown. William Hill was able to launch the sportsbooks thanks to its partnership with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
Dan Shapiro, vice president of Strategy and Business Development for William Hill, described the partnership with the two casinos as “just the beginning.” Shapiro confirmed that the company would be launching iCasino gaming and mobile sports betting throughout the Great Lake State “as soon as permitted.
Shapiro also mentioned the timing of the sportsbooks opening was important, to coincide with the beginning of the 2020 NFL season. He said the Onyx Sports Book by William Hill would be to the go-to location for sports fans in Northern Michigan.
