Fubo Gaming Secures Mobile Sports Betting Access in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Missouri
Fubo Gaming is continuing to expand its sports betting footprint across the United States. The gambling operator revealed it had secured market access agreements for its Fubo Sportsbook in Louisiana, Missouri, and Mississippi through Caesars Entertainment Inc.
Fubo Deal Details
The agreement will allow Fubo sportsbook access to mobile sports betting in each state, pending the required regulatory approvals and enacting sports betting legislation in Mississippi and Missouri.
Scott Butera, president of Fubo Gaming, said that they are pleased to be extending their relationship with Caesars Entertainment as they look to “expand access to Fubo Sportsbook across key markets in the US.” Butera said that Mississippi, Louisiana, and Missouri all have passionate sports fans, especially around college athletics. He said that those fans would “embrace our unique, immersive sports and wagering entertainment” site.
This is Fubo Gaming’s second iteration of a market access agreement with Caesars. In March, Fubo Gaming gained access to Indiana and New Jersey. Fubo Gaming also secured market access in other states, including Arizona, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
Fubo Gaming Seeking to Grow Brand
Fubo Gaming launched Fubo Sportsbook in 2021 and is currently live in Arizona and Iowa. Fubo Sportsbook aims to meet US sports bettors’ demand for increased interactivity via an industry-first integration of an owned-and-operated sports wagering platform with a live TV streaming experience.
By integrating Fubo Sportsbook into fuboTV, the app gives a personalized omniscreen experience that turns the people watching into active participants by allowing them to place wagers. The Sportsbook’s proprietary feature, Watching Now, allows fuboTV’s user date to interact with participants by recommending relevant wagers based on what they are watching.
Fubo Gaming also revealed its planning to add more features that will further integrate betting into the fuboTV platform.
Missouri, Mississippi Hoping to Legalize Betting
Fubo is likely to be launching in Louisiana next. Online sports wagering launched in Louisiana on January 28, in time for the NFL conference championships and the Super Bowl.
Meanwhile, lawmakers in Mississippi and Missouri are currently pushing to legalize sports betting in their states.
