Fubo Sportsbook agrees gaming operator deal with NASCAR
Fubo Sportsbook Signs Gaming Partnership Deal With NASCAR
Fubo Sportsbook is growing its partnerships, with the latest agreement meaning the brand will become an authorized gaming operator of NASCAR. This is Fubo Sportsbook’s first venture into the motorsport world but their third professional sports deal following agreements with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Jets.
Sam Rattner, chief operating officer of Fubo Gaming, said they were eager to build a relationship with NASCAR, describing it as a “league with a rich history and passionate followers.” Rattner stated that as an Authorized Gaming Operator, they are excited to begin “building engaging sports betting experiences” for existing and new racing fans. Rattner added that Fubo sportsbook is going to continue to expand its marketing footprint as they seek to reach sports enthusiasts across the country.
Fubo sportsbook will gain exposure through NASCAR’s at-track assets, series and event marks, and logos, in-app use of the NASCAR-owned track and will also appear across NASCAR’s digital and social platforms and events.
Joseph Solosky, managing director of sports betting at NASCAR, said that Fubo sportsbook provides them with an opportunity to expand “NASCAR’s reach through a unique sports betting experience.” Solosky added that Fubo appeals to both the casual viewer or die-hard race fan, and their unique approach to sports betting “brings a more exciting experience for our audience,” as they can interact with the sport in different ways.
Fubo sportsbook is expected to launch into the US online sports betting market towards the end of the year, pending regulatory approval. The brand is aiming to become an industry-first in integrating sports wagering and live TV streaming.
Existing NASCAR Partnerships
Fubo sportsbook is just the latest brand to agree to a sports betting deal with NASCAR. The sports league has agreed to deals with numerous brands as it has established itself in the betting industry. NASCAR previously announced a deal with Penn National Gaming, WynnBET, and BetMGM Sportsbook as authorized gaming operators. Additionally, the league signed an agreement with BetGenius as a data provider and Sportradar as the league’s integrity partner.
During the summer, the league revealed it had signed a deal with Bettor View, which delivers NASCAR content at venues around the country within legal online betting jurisdictions. This marked the first agreement with a professional sports league for BettorView.
