PointsBet Launches Online Casino in West Virginia

The PointsBet sportsbook and online casino revealed on Wednesday that it has launched its online casino platform in West Virginia.

PointsBet Already Active in West Virginia

The launch of the online casino product comes after the operator launched its online sportsbook in the Old Dominion State in August 2021.

Aaron O’Sullivan, PointsBet’s VP of Online Casino Revenue, said that as the company continues to expand across the United States along with the online casino market’s expansion, they are “thrilled” to offer an online casino product for users in West Virginia.

O’Sullivan added that it has been their aim to “deliver the best-in-class casino content to our users” in states which are able to offer the service. O’Sullivan said they remain committed to growing the online casino product and maintain “PointsBet’s position as the leader in the online casino market.”

PointsBet Expanding in the US

The Australian-native company has already launched its online casino in New Jersey and Michigan in summer 2021 and is now available in three states.

Manjit Gombra Singh, PointsBet President of Product and Technology, described this as an “exciting time for the online casino market” and said that they are “proud” to be part of the momentum and introduce their product in West Virginia.

Gombra Singh stated that they are quickly scaling their business and have now “integrated Scientific Games platform” to their current content portfolio. Singh also confirmed that the company will be expanding its suite of products throughout the year to provide more options “for our users in PointsBet online casinos.”

With the launch of its online casino site in West Virginia, PointsBet has struck an agreement with Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races, and users will have access to 15 games. PointsBet has listed titles such as Blackjack, Monopoly Megaways, 88 Fortunes, and more will be available through a partnership with Scientific Games.

You can access the PointsBet sportsbook in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois.
