PointsBet Team Up with Evolution Gaming
PointsBet has revealed a new partnership deal with live casino provider Evolution Gaming
One of the industries that continues to show progress in the United States despite the current circumstances is online gaming. As a result, operators are looking to get in on the action as states begin legalizing online casino gaming, sports betting, and poker. Sports betting operator PointsBet, who is based in Australia, have ramped up their presence in the US in recent times. The company has revealed they have signed a deal with Evolution Gaming, a live dealer game specialist, to improve the quality of games PointsBet can offer to US-based players.
PointsBet Expands in America
PointsBet has undoubtedly been quick out of the blocks to recognize the potential in the US iGaming market. The company initially started to offer services in the United States in summer 2018. They obtained a license to offer sports betting to New Jersey bettors; however, they had to wait until 2019 before the first bet was placed with the company.
Following that slow start, PointsBet has since expanded into Iowa and Indiana and wants to offer both online and retail services in more states in the future. The Australian bookmaker has already signed numerous deals and intends to continue their growth as online gambling looks set to take off in other states in the future. Live casinos in NJ have already gone down a storm with players as they can play the same games they would in a normal casino, just form the comfort of their sofa.
In signing a partnership with Evolution Gaming, PointsBet can now offer premium live casino games in the states where online casinos are legal. Live casino games are a very popular way for players to experience the thrill of a live casino floor from the comfort of their own home. As more players demand this type of experience, PointsBet can now offer a substantial list of new live dealer gaming options, starting with their NJ online casino.
Deal Suits Both Parties
The agreement is an ideal scenario for both Evolution Gaming, and PointsBet. Sebastian Johannisson, the Chief Commercial Officer for Evolution, commented that PointsBet can now take advantage of a vibrant mix of world-leading online Live Casino games. As well as live dealer games, traditional casino card games, and online poker will also be provided by the developer.
PointsBet can offer its players branded tables and a nice mix of gaming content. The Chief Innovation Officer of PointsBet, Seth Young, stated that they are ‘thrilled’ to be working with Evolution. They will promote the Live Casino portfolio through their sports betting options in the US in the areas they have targeted to launch an online casino platform.
Evolution Gaming is one of the most well-known providers of live casino games in the world. They launched their first live casino studio in the US in New Jersey, and they have seen the popularity of their games increase massively since 2018.
Due to their continued success, PointsBet is now working on plans for a second live casino, which will this time be built in Pennsylvania to capitalize on the growing PA online casino market. The aim is to have this up and running this year. Evolution Gaming got approval to have a live casino in the Keystone State last year. The company has also signaled its intention to have a live casino studio set up in Michigan for 2021.
