Titans Confirm BetMGM as Official Betting Partner
The Tennessee Titans have tied up a deal with BetMGM
NFL franchise the Tennessee Titans have announced they have agreed to a deal for a new sports betting partner. Market-leading operator BetMGM will become the team’s first official sports betting partner. It is also the first official partnership between a professional sports team and sports betting platform to be confirmed in the state. Tennessee Sports betting will soon be officially live in the Volunteer State, with a date of November 1 being set as the official launch date.
Last week, BetMGM was granted a conditional license to offer sports betting in Tennessee, which was one of the three licenses approved by the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation. The other brands to receive a license where sports betting giants DraftKings and FanDuel.
Gil Beverly, Titans senior vice president, chief marketing and revenue officer, said the organization was “thrilled” to introduce BetMGM to Tennessee. Beverly also stated that Titans fans would benefit from “new experiences and levels of engagement” as the season continues behind closed doors.
The Titans have started the current season well and are currently 3-0. They overcame the Minnesota Vikings in a barnstormer of a match on Sunday to continue their fantastic start. The Titans’ next game should also be a cracker, as they host the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers on October 4.
BetMGM gain Exposure with the deal
As per the terms of the agreement, BetMGM will receive brand exposure across multiple Titans digital assets. Additionally, big in-game moments, such as video replays and field goal attempts, will also feature BetMGM branding.

BetMGM Chief Marketing Officer Matt Prevost described the Titans as an “incredible organization.” He said BetMGM is “proud” to have been named as the Titans’ first official sports betting partner and is excited at the opportunities both brands now have to help fans engage with their favorite sports team.
Other features of the deal include BetMGM becoming the sponsor of a yet to be revealed Titans raffle benefitting The Titans Foundation, which supports community organizations across the state. The BetMGM mobile app will be available from November 1 for all residents and visitors to Tennessee and can be downloaded by both iOS and Android users.
BetMGM Increases NFL Presence
With this partnership with the Titans now agreed, BetMGM Sportsbook now has deals in place with four NFL teams. The company has been a partner of the New York Jets since October 2018. Other agreements with NFL teams include sports betting partnerships with the Las Vegas Raiders, Detroit Lions, and the Denver Broncos.
The NFL has been against gambling in the past but is now looking to exploit the industry to boost revenues and increase fan engagement. BetMGM also has existing partnerships with the PGA Tour and NASCAR.
