William Hill Now Available in Iowa
William Hill US has introduced its sports betting desktop site and mobile app in Iowa.
The news comes following the Hawkeye State removing its on-property sign-up requirement, meaning bettors can sign up remotely from anywhere within the state. William Hill is one of the most established operators in the United States, and its app has recently undergone several improvements. The app is available for both Android and Apple devices, with the registration process lasting minutes on both.
Following Iowa introducing remote registration across the state, William Hill became one of eight mobile sportsbooks that are now active in the region offering sports betting in Iowa. Additionally, William Hill operates six retail sportsbooks at casinos in Iowa. The casinos are Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf, Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo, Harrah’s Council Bluffs, Horseshoe Council Bluffs, Lakeside Hotel & Casino, and Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino.
The newly enhanced Willaim Hill app has been designed with the user in mind. The company has stressed that they have focused on usability and flexibility, creating a betting platform that provides a vast selection of markets and sports betting opportunities. The registration process is straightforward; players can sign up within minutes and have an active account. Additionally, the platform is extremely secure, and players can start wagering almost immediately.
The app also has several ways players can fund their accounts and withdraw winnings. Some of the payment methods available include Paypal, online banking, eChecks, debit cards, and a William Hill branded Play+ card. Customers also have the opportunity to cash out their winnings at any of William Hill’s retail sports located throughout the Hawkeye State.
William Hill Continues Expansion
William Hill’s sports betting app has been expanding across the US recently. The app has launched in the nation’s capital, Washington DC, featuring all of the same superb betting options and flexible payment methods. The app is now live in eight states, Iowa, New Jersey, Indiana, Colorado, Illinois, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.
William Hill, which is one of the most well-known gambling brands globally, has a clear strategy to expand across the world this year quickly. The company has recently acquired Alfabet to have a presence in the growing Colombian market. In Europe, William Hill has launched a new service in Latvia, intending to double its current online betting market share in the country.
The company is showing a healthy level of global growth and comes in the midst of a potential $3.7 billion takeover by Caesars Entertainment. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the takeover bid had successfully cleared the US antitrust review.
