FanDuel Confirms Partnership with Boxing Champion Amanda Serrano

Boxing superstar Amanda Serrano is the latest athlete to sign a deal to become a brand ambassador for FanDuel Sportsbook. Serrano, a seven-division champion, will take on Katie Taylor at Madison Square Garden on April 30 in what is being dubbed the biggest women’s bout of all time. FanDuel will have access to Serrano’s name as part of the agreement.

Serrano and her team will create unique social content, and fans will see the FanDuel logo on her trunks during the fight. FanDuel will also create custom promos on its sportsbook platform before the fight.

Serrano said that as she is the first female professional boxer to headline an event at Madison Square Garden, she recognizes her responsibility in promoting women’s boxing. Serrano said she is “honored to be the first boxer to partner with FanDuel.” The boxer was keen to praise FanDuel’s dedication to supporting the elevation of female athletes, and she said she will “proudly wear their logo in the ring” during her fight against Katie Taylor on April 30.

Serrano has built up a record of 42-1-1 record during her professional boxing career. Her match against Taylor will be for the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring female lightweight titles. Serrano is promoted and managed by Jake Paul and Nikisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions.

Serrano is one of many athletes that are part of FanDuel’s roster of sports betting talent, including Jordan Spieth, Kenny Smith, Colin Cowherd, Jon Rothstein, Pat McAfee, Charles Barkley, and Cousin Sal.

Odds for the fight

FanDuel currently has Serrano as a –130 favorite over Taylor. Taylor (+102) is undefeated at 20-0 and holds the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring lightweight titles.

Serrano has more knockouts on her resume, with 30 KOs in 42 wins. According to the latest betting odds, a Serrano win by decision is +195 while Serrano to win by knockout or TKO is +310. Taylor is +600 to win by knockout and +170 to earn a victory on points.
